EUSynBioS Entrepreneurship Seminar

Today, the 10th EUSynBioSeminar was held, with Dr. Joanna Sadler, BBSRC Biotechnology Research Fellow at the University of Edinburgh, as the speaker. She presented her work on the processing of ethylene terephthalate waste by microorganisms.

Her recent article, published in Green Chemistry, demonstrates how to convert plastic bottles to vanillin using a developed strain of E. coli.
