Anastasiia Babaieva, graduated in 2015.
Leading Standardization Engineer, Lekhim-Kharkiv PrJSC
Starting from the 8th grade, when chemistry appeared in the curriculum, I realized that I wanted to continue studying it. The only university with a broad curriculum and a high rating was NUPh. And after the Open Day at NUPh, I had no doubts. I knew exactly where I was going to enter.
After attending the Open Day, I was most impressed and interested in biotechnology. Unfortunately, I had very little idea of what a biotechnologist was. Many sources claimed that in Ukraine, it was only brewing or the production of lactic acid products.
But studying biotechnology exceeded all my expectations. I could not have imagined such a wide range of applications of biotechnology in various industries.
The most unforgettable classes were microbiology, genetic engineering, and pharmaceutical biotechnology.
During the classes, we learned about incredible things, from the use of microorganisms in pharmacy and medicine to their use in the agricultural sector.
The knowledge gained is very relevant and helps in our work, especially understanding and presenting the full technological process at an industrial pharmaceutical enterprise.
The highly qualified teaching staff left an equally significant imprint on my memories of studying. Lectures and interesting practical classes were always full of useful information, contributed to the development of skills and experience, which helped in further employment.
