On March 25, 2021, the Department of Biotechnology of the National University of Pharmacy hosted the First International Scientific and Practical Internet Conference “Problems and Achievements of Modern Biotechnology” .
Today we are witnessing the rapid development of biotechnology around the world. Biotechnology is a powerful tool for the sustainable development of pharmacy and medicine, food industry, crop production, animal husbandry and veterinary medicine, environmental technologies. That is why the aim of the conference was to promote the development of this multidisciplinary science for the benefit of mankind.
The achievements of scientists and practitioners in various fields of biotechnology are reflected in more than 200 abstracts of the conference and presented in 22 reports. It was a great honor for us to communicate with scientists and educators, graduates and young scientists, representatives of biotechnology companies in various fields. We are pleased that the conference has become a platform for communication and exchange of ideas with colleagues from Ukraine, Kazakhstan, Belarus, Estonia and Poland .

Section of Young Scientists
“Science wins when its wings are uninhibited with imagination” – Michael Faraday.
It is young and talented people who are able to do a lot in science and in their professional activities. And speakers’ reports of Section of Young Scientists, which were held at the I International Scientific and Practical Internet conference “Problems and Achievements of Modern Biotechnology”, proved it.
The online format of the conference allowed to bring together about 50 participants interested in the state and development of biotechnology. Among the young scientists who presented their scientific achievements, students, PhD students and Doctoral Candidate from:
