Place of work and position – Process Engineer at the Research and Development Site of the Biotechnology Department of Farmak Pharmaceutical Company.
When choosing a place of study, I was guided by several key and most important criteria for me, namely
- Accreditation of the educational institution
- The prestige of the university
- The level of knowledge provided by the educational institution
- The profile of education
The National University of Pharmacy met all my requirements the best, so I immediately started the admission procedure to this university.
At the stage of forming my professional future, I thought for a long time about what kind of specialist I wanted to be, but even then I realized that I wanted to see myself in the medical or pharmaceutical field. My choice was determined at the moment when, in one of my conversations with specialists in the previously mentioned fields, I came to the conclusion that the most promising, interesting and developing field of activity for me would be pharmaceutical technology and biotechnology. Soon after discovering that the National University of Pharmacy has a biotechnology specialty, I weighed the pros and cons and decided that this is where I wanted to get my education.
At the moment of introducing biotechnology as a career, thanks to the materials I had previously studied, I realized what it was and what I would have to face in the future, and this is what pushed me to become more and more interested in this field.
After years of hard work and careful study, my expectations were met, and I got exactly the job I wanted, and the initial position I had been striving for all 5 years of study, for which I am very grateful to my home department.
During the years of my studies, there were many interesting, exciting and unforgettable events, and yet every day was like a new one for gaining knowledge and becoming a future professional in my field.
Most of all, I remember the wonderful professionals of my kind of activity who taught at our university and I am especially grateful to my entire native department for the knowledge gained, wonderful holidays, especially the Biotechnology Day, and just for the good attitude towards their students!
Currently, I am a specialist at the leading Ukrainian pharmaceutical company Farmak, and all the knowledge I have gained at my university gives me the opportunity to be on a par with my colleagues, for which I am very grateful to NUPh. Due to the fact that my occupation is related to biotechnology, all the knowledge I received at the Department of Biotechnology is necessary for me now!
