Margarita Bodnarchuk, graduated with a master’s degree in biotechnology in 2015.
I am currently working as a production manager at LinkCell (Lviv), with previous jobs as a production manager at Nestlé (Kharkiv) and a production manager at Zdorovye (Kharkiv).
Why did I choose Biotechnology? I was interested in biology and the world of microorganisms. I thought about studying to become a doctor, but I was afraid of the responsibility for human lives. That’s why biotechnology was the right choice. A biotechnologist is not a person who just creates a new product, but a person who changes the world. Over time, as you gain experience, your expectations are justified.
My greatest memories are associated with laboratory work at the Department of Biotechnology, which was then located on Melnykova Street, and the excitement of preparing my diploma.
The knowledge I gained during my studies came in handy, especially at the beginning of my professional career. When I was studying for my master’s degree, I missed professional English classes, because many biotech developments and documentation can be found in English!
